Rachel & the team were great hosts, the Chay complex is beautiful and an easy walk to holistika around the corner, where I could walk my dog through the art walk. It is in a quiet part of town which I liked. The space is beautiful & the bed was really comfortable. I will add, that the space is quite small, the glass walled concept is really cool, but at night unless you close the blinds everyone can see in from the outside, and one of the blinds is missing so I felt a little exposed. Glass walls also are not so sound proof, it was generally quiet though except for when people were talking right outside. This apartment is the first one in the complex next to the pool, so anyone at the pool is right in front of you. The shower is also salty, but this is common in Tulum. Overall though, I enjoyed my stay here and I would stay again. They have an app with amenities for easy booking clubs/spa/services etc.

Beautiful place to stay in Tulum. The full windows around the studio make you feel like you’re part of the forest. There are blinds on the windows in case you fear and privacy issues, but I did not see a reason to draw the blinds unless it was night time. I recommend this place especially if you’re interested in doing yoga at Holistika. It’s a very walkable distance.

Overall, a very special stay. The place itself is relaxing and quite stunning to be surrounded by beautiful nature ( birds, trees, etc). Part of our experience was our fault, in that we should have done much more research on Tulum and how it is set up before coming. That said, the surrounding area of this Airbnb is full of construction, unfinished roads, and quite far from the beach. One SHOULD plan on getting a scooter or car to get around, as walking on foot is exhausting in the blazing sun, and bikes just as much. You are about a 30-1 hour min walk to the downtown area & 15 mins from La Valeta. The beach shuttle was super convenient and offered ( at cost) by the Airbnb staff, who were extremely proactive, informative, and kind throughout our stay. The beach access they offer is also awesome! The place was super clean. However, the water temp & pressure ( as is often the case in Tulum) was very spotty. The fire was a nice touch in the pool. It was a relaxing and unique stay overall!

Rachel’s place was beautiful, clean, quiet and not far from the hotel zone and tourist attractions. The tram was very responsive and helpful, the guide has a lot of great recommendations
