This place was maybe the best air BNB I've ever stayed in. The scenery was breath taking, and it was a very comfortable stay with all of the amenities needed. While taking a tuk tuk into San Marcos was needed, it was never an issue, and I found that town to be quite congested, where's this area was very open and clean. All of the staff were very friendly as well. Highly recommend!

The place was pretty good. Very private and with a great view. It has everything one needs for a short or long stay. The road that goes pretty close to the place does have a lot of traffic during the day and in the evening, but it gets quiet at night.

Peaceful romantic getaway. Clean modern space, stunning views, everything functional, lots of windows, king sized bed, luxury linens, hot water runs for an entire 15 minutes a rarity in Guatemala, 20L garrafone drinking water, wifi tested 5-10 mbps, enough towels TP coffee filters for a few days. Sweet friendly guard dogs, some even came with us to the lake. Small gate to access the lake across the street, just dodge the sprinklers placed directly on the pathway through the garden. Spent most of our time swimming and sunbathing on the dock, motorized boats don’t seem to go through this area. Easy check in with the manager, a lot of men on the property, noise from workers was drowned out by road noise which didn’t bother us. Tuk tuk contact Juan charges Q30 to the cabin. Easy to flag down one of many tuk tuks that drive past the cabin.

Great place at the Lago Atitlan with a fantastic view on the lake itself and a beautiful garden surrounding the different cabañas. It’s a 15 minute walk up a hill to the city so you would need to take a tuktuk when you have a lot of luggage. There is the main road in front of the property with occasional traffic but we’ve slept right through it.

We had a very nice stay at this new, spotlessly clean and comfortable property! It felt safe, thanks to a couple of friendly guard dogs and well lit property. Roberto was a very helpful, friendly and responsive host. The setting is beautiful, nestled in a lovely garden with a stunning lake and volcanos view and access to a lakefront dock where we swam. The internet was decent for work, with some fluctuations. While there's some noise from a nearby main road, the location is conveniently just a 10-minute walk from the bustling town center of San Marcos, with its restaurants, shops, and yoga retreats. We recommend Roberto’s place.
