We arrived at Jaime's place after a long bike ride, and it was wonderful to get straight inside, make a cuppa and sit on the deck in the sun right across the road from the beach. The caravan is clean and comfortable, with a lovely hot shower and well-equipped kitchen. We would have liked to be able to pay extra to use linen and avoid carrying it with us on our bikes, but unfortunately that wasn't an option. The setting of the caravan is amazing, being right across from the stunning beach at Akitio. The camp shop has very limited stock and variety, so bring everything you need with you. The fish n chip caravan next door is fine and we managed to get a beer at the local angling club, which was a treat.

Beautiful location close to the beach. Diane and Bill at the fish n chip shop next door were lovely and helpful. Place was a bit dirty and disappointing to find a dirty towel in the bathroom. Definitely not value for money considering needing to supply own towels and sheets and lack of cleanliness.

This was a great place to stay!! Make sure you read the description because there are some unique aspects of it, but we loved it. Right next to a fish and chips place and right at the beach, it was just what we needed.
