First floor of a single family house is all yours. Separate entrance, newly renovated. Clean and cozy! 2 bedrooms. One with a double bed and one with a single bed best suited for a child. Close to parks, shops, Starbucks, restaurants and Royal Columbian Hospital. Less than a 10 minute walk to a skytrain station. Hosts live on the property (Second Floor). Home is newly insulated to limit the sound transfer between spaces. Free Parking pass available. The house was built in 1910 so it's a bit unique. Ceilings are low on the ground level.. If you're 6' tall, this place may not be for you. Note there is one door frame that's at about 5' 9" as well. We've added signs to "Watch Your Head" at the lower areas. Please do so! We've added insulation between the floors and baseboard heaters to increase guest comfort and quiet.

Great place for a one night stay, very clean and nice little touches from the host to make us feel at home and welcome (such as tea and food). As indicated in the listing, the ceilings are quite low, which wasn’t an issue for us as we are short people (5’7 and 5’6) but anyone who is taller may find it uncomfortable. There is no window in the main space (kitchen and living room) so that’s why I wouldn’t stay there for more than a night, but otherwise the host is very responsive and check in was easy, and there were two TVs with Netflix etc which was great. Mattress in the main bedroom was on the soft side so we ended up sleeping in separate rooms (fortunately there was another bedroom with a firmer single mattress). We appreciated the local recommendations for restaurants which ended up being quite on point :) Thanks again for the stay!
We were only there for one night but I would definitely stay again and recommend this place. It was exactly as described and so nice and clean!
I could not have been happier with this last minute booking. It was less than a block from my appointments, very close to amenities and even a park for some exercise! Yes the ceilings are low but at 6’1” I didn’t find it that bad. Jeff even let me park my truck in the driveway to make it more convenient to get in and out of the suite. The space was spotless and I will definitely book again!
This was a great location- we we travelling between SFU and Vancouver city center. Place was clean and as described (low ceilings which were well marked). Had all the amenities, like coffee and even a snack basket which was a pleasant surprise after arriving late from the airport. Would recommend to friends.

This historic neighborhood in BC's former Capitol features a classic arcade, pubs, eateries, donut shops(!), breweries and more. Grocery, produce, liquor and drugstores are all easily accessible on foot. Royal Columbian Hospital is also a short walk away.
The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Easy Columbia likely has everything you need but the skytrain is only an 8 minute walk away if you'd like to head into the Big City.
Sapperton Skytrain station is a short walk away. New West is located in the centre of Greater Vancouver and all major routes are easy accessed if you happen to be driving.
