We stayed at Adrian’s place for 6 days before heading to Nosara. Pros: beautiful home, amazing deck and pool/views/bbq. Perfect to spend time at house if you want to be a bit cooler and wind down. House is secluded and quiet. Town of Nosara is 28 min drive (be prepared for steep bumpy roads) Cons: the house has a huge ant issue there are ants everywhere-floors doors cracks counters even in the bed. Adrian said it was due to rain season however , given the higher priced range we expected more accommodation for this but there isn’t one screen door or window. The lights are all bright hallogen, which naturally attracts bugs.. at night we had to keep all the lights off to avoid bug encounters . We had dead bugs everywhere, our suitcases had to be shaken out as well. This was stressful. Basically daytime is safe and night is humid and buggy. All in all it was lovely however it’s overpriced given the slower season, everything else is discounted.

Without a doubt one of the most amazing places we have stayed! Lets start with the architecture: This house is the perfect fusion of indoor and outdoor living. The stacked bedrooms give each room its own unique feel and the master bedroom has the beautiful bathroom with the stone floor and tub with an outdoor shower. The lower bedroom walks right out into the pool and both wake you up to the morning sunrise. The open concept kitchen and living room with all windows that slide open with a view in one direction to the pool and the other to the ocean and jungle. The pool, much larger and deeper than expected and very needed in that Nosara heat. Other mega wins: - wifi was super fast - outdoor speaker set-up was super easy and sounded great - well appointed kitchen - the pool :) - the bed was super comfortable and great linens - AC in the rooms that matter Advice: Without a doubt rent a 4x4. You have to earn the views and will need a 4x4.

Our stay at the Airbnb in Nosara, Costa Rica, was nothing short of fabulous! The house itself was a dream—immaculately clean, stylishly furnished, and equipped with all the modern amenities you could ask for, all while perfectly capturing the essence of its lush, tropical surroundings. The location was ideal for us, providing easy access to the town of Nosara, yet it was secluded and peaceful. What truly set our experience apart, however, was our host's exceptional hospitality. They were not only welcoming and responsive but also went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. I can't recommend this place highly enough—a perfect retreat in a paradise setting!

Adrien was an excellent host and his house is beautiful. A remote mountain setting yet easy access to Ostional and Nosara. The road up is definitely 4WD but easy to navigate and closer to the main road than it first appears. Getting up and down was easy and fun! The house had amazing bedrooms, the master with an outdoor shower and beautifully approximated bathroom with large soaking tub. The infinity pool is amazing, large and refreshing. The kitchen and living room well appointed and confortable. The sunset views are spectacular. The hilltop location is cool and breezy, a welcome change from the heat and dust of Nosara. A fantastic getaway. Adrien himself was so gracious, welcoming and helpful - we really appreciated his personal touch and attention. He was close by to address any issues or requests, yet totally respectful of our privacy. He really made our stay extraordinary. Loved our time here and would return in a heartbeat.
