We absolutely loved staying at Sam’s place - the cottage was beautifully decorated with everything you could need. Great location right in the heart of Painswick too. We would love to come back!!
Best place we have stayed since arriving in UK 5 days before. Gorgeous unit.
My partner and I stayed in Painswick for a wedding. The Airbnb on the whole was beautifully decorated with the most comfortable bedroom - we both had a fantastic nights sleep. We did have some trouble with internet/entertainment, however, Sam was very honest and being that we had a wedding to attend there was lots of other engagements to keep us occupied. Sam amended our check in as well as the wedding was earlier than standard check in time. Thank you Sam! Overall, we were obsessed by the interiors of the place, happy with the cleanliness, accessibility and communication from host. The only pain in Painswick was both cafè options opening times were quite late and no full english :( …… which is no good on a hangover! Although, we have been to The Oak before which we highly recommend, lovely food and courtyard seating. Brilliant central location - it is walking distance to two small convenience shops, pub, cafè and the church.
Sam's place was perfect for our stay in the Cotswolds, beautifully furnished and well situated. We felt right at home at Sam's place and in Painswick.
This was a beautiful stay! We loved the village, the decor of the home and the host support. There are so many lovely walks around and recommended food places. Perfect for a weekend away. Unfortunately the wifi was down during our stay, and there was limited signal so we struggled to contact the host about this or use the TV/phones. This seemed to be a general broadband issue on the whole street though so wasn’t the fault of the host, so likely a one-off! The hot water was limited too, so cold showers were in order for whoever was showering/bathing second or third. Other than this we loved our stay.
