A nice cottage, well set up for short stays for 2 to 4 people max. Remote location, as described. This worked well for us, it was peaceful and only a 20 minute drive from Peterborough where we were working. Lovely to have a wood burner, the kitchen had everything we needed and if you want to eat out, there are a few good pubs a short drive away. The property was clean, well equipped and of a very good standard. We would happily stay again.

Absolutely excellent in all respects. Not enough adjectives to describe Rest and Be Thankful as the wonderful cottage it was. As a group of two couples, I think we all felt that we had rested and were so thankful that we found this amazing cottage, it certainly lived up to its name! It was exceptionally clean (especially the bathrooms), very comfortable beds, a fully equipped and immaculate kitchen. The kind, thoughtful, welcoming gestures that Kathryn had left for us on our arrival were very much appreciated and this is probably the first time we have unpacked bags and shared a bottle of Prosecco, we loved that touch, Kathryn! Although the weather wasn't the kindest, we could imagine that this cottage would be even more of a gem in clement weather. However, we were able to take advantage (with wellington boots) of the countryside around the cottage and enjoyed trips to Wansford (great coffee shop), Stamford and other areas. Thank you so much.

We had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend it A peaceful location, a short drive away from the beautiful Wansford high street and scarcewell farm. Very well maintained, extremely clean with thoughtful touches (welcome cake, salt/pepper/cling film/tea and coffee). Kathryn was very responsive and quickly helpful when needed.
