This place is AMAZING! The wildlife we got to see just from our balcony was incredible, but then we also got a tour of the grounds and got to see ever more wildlife there. Once we got back from the tour, we were served the most delectable breakfast. We felt pampered and pleased! We also got massages while here and that was just incredible. Book now. You won’t regret it!
My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at Mountain Top Park!! It felt very exclusive and peaceful. We were able to have a couples massage at the top of the mountain and enjoy drinks at the bar with an amazing view of the ocean to the west and the mountains to the east. Jose and the whole staff were so kind and made us feel at home! Jose gave use a tour of the property through the suspension bridges and we saw a toucan, sloths, parrots, and other fun creatures! The breakfast provided was incredible as well. If you’re looking for a place to stay close to Manuel Antonio park where you can feel like you are truly one with nature this is the spot! Again we want to give a shoutout to Jose who became a friend!!
Beautiful property tucked away in a local neighborhood but still feel like you are in a jungle. The views are amazing from the top. The staff were friendly and accommodating! We really enjoyed our stay. It was great to have such a peaceful place to come back to after the days adventures, or to just stay and have an adventure in the park.
We loved our stay. Alan was terrific and always there for us, whether we needed a cab or offering to handle booking excursions. Jose was also wonderful. We took a tour of the area the hotel is in with him and got to see a mama Toucan and a sloth. He us very knowledgable about the flora and fauna.
De locatie was oke. Je hebt wel een auto nodig om de boel in de buurt te verkennen. We hadden een ochtend tour maar deze werd nu bezet door andere betaalde gasten die de hangbruggen wilde doen dus moesten wij ons aanpassen aan een andere tijd. Vonden wij heel vreemd. Uit eindelijk dag erna een tour gekregen van iemand maar deze persoon moest opgeroepen worden en was zich niet bewust dat wij die dag tour zouden doen. Verder kamers prima. Voelen veilig, nette kamers en leuk uitzicht.

The hotel is located inside of Mountain Top Park in a jungle. There is a small grocery store and restaurant outside the Park. The beach is 2 miles away and very accessible by walking or bus.
You do NOT need a car in Manuel Antonio. Everything is accessible by walking and the Manuel Antonio bus goes to and from the beach every 20 minutes. we recommend getting off the bus at igloo at the Manuel Antonio beach. Bring good walking shoes. Walking is the preferred method of transportaion in Manuel Antonio because you can see more wildlife. Biking is not recommended due to drastic terrain elevation changes. Taxis are abundant.
AIRPORT TO MANUEL ANTONIO. several shuttle companies like monkeyridecr, easyridecostarica, or caribeshuttle will take you directly from SJO airport to the property for approximately $55 per person. Most taxis from the SJO airport charge $200 one way. The cheapest way to travel to Manuel Antonio is pay $20 for uber or taxi from the SJO airport to the Tracopa bus station in San Jose and then take a pink Tracopa bus to Manuel Antonio for (6,000 colones). get off the bus at the Villa Lirio bus stop in Manuel Antonio. then walk 10 minutes to your hotel room in Mountain Top Park.
FOOD OPTIONS. express service is 2,000 colones to order restaurant food to your hotel room, walk a few minutes and eat at any restaurant, or buy food at the nearby grocery store and prepare it in the shared kitchen area.
FROM the Quepos bus station, you can take the Manuel Antonio bus (white with red and blue stripe) every 20 minutes from the Quepos bus station to the Manuel Antonio beach. get off the bus at VILLA LIRIO and then walk 10 minutes to your hotel room inside Mountain top park.
