My family and I spent a wonderful few days at this uniquely beautiful house. We primarily chose it because of its proximity to Turtle Beach and for its old-world charm. It did not disappoint. We felt as though we had stepped into a history book, but with all the modern comforts. The garden is filled with colourful plants, which attracted a variety of wildlife, including peacocks and kingfishers. The swimming pool is refreshing and our children used it often, when not at the beach. We spent much of our time relaxing and dining on the picturesque outdoor verandah. The al fresco bathrooms in flower-filled courtyards with rainfall showers were a real treat, while the air conditioned bedrooms ensured a very comfortable night's sleep. Uvin and Shehan were the consummate hosts. They organised our transport, provided helpful information about nearby restaurants and places of interest and went the extra mile to ensure that we had a fantastic stay. We hope to return soon.

Amazing Airbnb in Sri Lanka. The staff are so kind, and made the experience incredible for my group. They provided everything you could need - food, help with local transport, recs, and did everything to ensure that everything was perfect for us. They were extremely accommodating and made the check in and check out process extremely easy. The airbnb itself is beautiful and modern. Rooms have plenty of AC, facilities are clean and modern. WiFi is good. Location is close to all the main beaches in South West Sri Lanka. This was one of my favorite airbnb experiences ever, and I’d highly recommend to anyone in the area

Loved it! We experienced living in a 200 year old bungalow with lot of modern amenities to keep you comfortable. Great location - you can just walk across the road to the beach. Turtle beach is also hardly 200-300 m away (we spotted 2-3 turtles while swimming there). A lot of eateries around which gave options to have our meals closeby. Unawatuna beach was about 2kms away and Galle fort was about 20-25 mins drive. Large, Spacious rooms with an open bathroom (which was unique). The pool was amazing as well, sorrounded by trees and chirping birds Uvin and his friend were helpful and always available when we needed something. They helped us with our meals - delicious home cooked food. And we got fresh coconut water and fruits daily in the morning. The kitchen was also very well stocked for us to have tea, coffee at will. It felt like home right from the start and we were very relaxed during the whole stay - this property has that chill vibe. Totally recommended for a laidback vacation

The best property I have stayed at anywhere in the world - Uvin and team made us feel right at home from day one. It is a massive estate with beautiful rooms, a great pool, backyard and is right across the road from the beach. The staff helped us with anything we needed, cleaned and maintained the place everyday and even got us authentic home cooked Sri Lankan food for dinner one night. Cannot recommend this place enough!
