Marshall was friendly and very thoughtful with helping us figure out activities and food in the area. The house was comfortable and in a beautifully serene setting. It was able to accommodate both children and adults with plenty of space. We will be back!

We spent the Christmas weekend with our family at the Dusty Spur and Marshall, Louise and Mike spared no efforts in making it magical. They were highly responsive and helpful regarding everything - from the proper instructions to get there to solving any issues we were facing inside the home. We really appreciated the little details including the small Christmas trees with decorations which the kids absolutely adored! The house was clean and just as described, with multiple heating options and two wood burning fireplace for warm and cozy game nights. It's also located very close to the north entrance of Lassen National Park and has multiple grocery stores nearby. Would definitely come back for another stay.

We enjoyed the stay at Dusty. Marshall had already made arrangements for all the supplies (kitchen, bathroom, bedding, etc) There was a nice welcome basket with wine & chocolates… nice views & ample amount of wood logs for fire pit (both inside the house & outside) Kids spotted deers in the morning. Only one issue we faced was about the water shortage due to unplanned power cut (for which we already got some amount refunded by the host). A generator on the property would have been better. I recommend this place which near to Lasson National Volcanic Park. It is situated in the middle of the woods. Great sky gazing experience.
