WOW!! This home Was Amazing!! The Lay Out!! Quietness!! The View!! & The Owner Steve was So Friendly & Helpful with places to Eat or Things to See.. Couldn't get a Better Host.. Highly Recommend This Beautiful Home!! Very Happy VRBO Guest...💕
Something drew me to this place, whether it was the view of the ocean or the spirit of the island I’m not quite sure… Steve’s home away from home was the most incredible place to spend NYE and the memories of the house, the ever changing environment it was part of, the people I met (Eliese at at the home was and Angel in disguise), the history of the island and everything I can’t put my finger on we live with me forever. Steve was a great communicator, and very proactive to share the beauties of the house so we could navigate the local way. He assistance with other things on the island, too, was beyond expectations and my friend and I are so grateful. ❤️❤️❤️
I can’t stop thinking about the view! How incredible to stare out on the water with nothing to interrupt. Not to mention the view from bed in the master bedroom- dreamy. The house is so comfortable, I loved opening the doors up to the patio and letting the breeze come through. This is a beautiful modern space inside an architectural gem. Full kitchen and dining areas inside and out make it easy to cook in. The separate wings made it really nice to share with friends. This place is absolutely peaceful, a perfect island getaway. Steve is easy to work with, he had thoughtful recommendations for my stay.
Balliceaux house in Spring estate. Most of the houses are on large lots and are generously landscaped for privacy. The neighborhood began in the 1960s with a well know architect from the States, Ray Crites. Many of the homes have an open air Polynesian or West Indies influence. Over the years the house styles have become eclectic but the neighborhood remains relaxed and charming. Originally Spring hotel was built in the 1960s on a coconut plantation below the house. There is a historic sugarcane mill. The hotel is now called Firefly. It has just a few upscale rooms and a restaurant. The old mill is now the operation for the boutique, Grenadines wild seas salt.
