Liza was so great! She had recommendations, made us feel right at home, and helped us communicate with a local tour company when there was miscommunication about the pickup location. The place was also great for the price. Beautiful rooftop with a view, free coffee and toast for breakfast before tours, and we felt safe and welcomed. The air conditioning was also wonderful to have after a long day in the heat. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in San Ignacio. It is a very friendly town. A big thank you to the two sisters who manage the property. They were very nice and help us organize our tours and they were very helpful also to answer all of our questions. Liza, the owner, was also very quick in responding to my messages.

We stayed at Liza’s during the Easter holiday. Generally in their town everything and everyone closes and is at home for the Good Friday celebration. We didn’t expect any service from Liza’s because of this. Surprisingly they provided a lovely set up of self serve coffee, breads, fruits, jelly, and peanut butter! Really yummy and really nice considering the town literally shuts down. These folks were kind and helpful and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. We loved it.

Loved our stay in San Ignacio! Arnold's Guesthouse is super easy to find, located near downtown Burns Street with lots of great restaurants, and near the bridge over the Macal River. Check-in was very flexible (we were allowed to go to our room early), and the local host was so kind to us! Front desk service is always available, and breakfast (toast, fruit) is provided every morning. We particularly enjoyed the hammocks on the roof!

Liza and her sister were very welcoming and helpful. They even organised a shuttle for the next part of my journey. The room was large and provided all that I required. The small breakfast in the morning is a very nice add-on.
