Love Shack is an appartement is in a historic castle in the ♥️ of Hollywood, California, USA. It’s in a cul-de-sac peaceful and centrally-located place, right behind the Hollywood Bowl, just a short walk to Chinese Theatre, Walk of Fame, tours & all the tourist must haves that LA has to offer, including the hiking spots w scenic views: Runyon Canyon, Lake Hollywood, Griffin Observatory and park etc. Close to public transportation & short drive to beautiful world famous notorious SoCal beaches. This building was here before any other building on this hill! Most of the stuff is original, built in 1925… it comes w it’s kinks and rawness. Perf for a couple of love birds :) owner lives on the property and is a musician - you can hear magic created sometimes from the upper levels… you also have a beautiful terrace to enjoy.

Ro's place was a fantastic find!!! Right in the beautiful Hollywood hills, just a couple minutes from the action on Hollywood Blvd, the Hollywood Bowl, and a short drive to Universal!! The room itself felt plenty big enough for our family of 3, with a large bathroom, handy little kitchen area, extremely comfortable bed, and spacious couch. Plus the walk out patio was a great spot to just chill and enjoy the weather while looking at the beautiful homes in the surrounding hills. Next time we come back to LA, this is the only place we would want to book!
The apartment has a lovely view and is in a charming and quiet neighborhood. Check in and check out were easy and Ro was always responsive. The size of the apartment was perfect for the two of us. Although we knew there was not a fully equipped kitchen, it would have been nice to have some utensils other than just a few plastic forks and spoons. A knife and a dishtowel would have been useful. That said, we would recommend Ro's place to anyone visiting the area.
I was in Los Angeles for a local film festival and the Love Shack was perfectly suited to my needs. I didn't spend a lot of time in the unit (I wish I could have spent more time in the deliciously comfortable bed!) but location, price and atmosphere were ideal. I will definitely book again if I return to LA for the film festival next year.

The neighborhood is built to resemble the French Riviera. Even tho it’s in the middle of all happenings, it’s surprisingly quiet and clean. You hear birds :) even though we are located right behind the Hollywood bowl, we are not disturbed because of how the bowl is built and the sound travels up and away. We have amazing neighbors! Everyone is cheerful, happy and welcoming! ♥️ Check out my guestbook for local recommendations for every occasion ♥️
Walk to everywhere and Uber are best but also there is good public transportation everywhere around. You are literary in the heart of Hollywood. We also have a parking pass for our guests. That saves $50-90 (depending on the show) parking for Hollywood bowl.
