Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Located 3 miles from downtown and walking distance of Southern Brewing Company. Our primary residence for most of the year, when we're not travelling. Adjacent to two of our other Airbnbs, Butler Cottage and Narrow Woods Cottage. Full of retro Southern charm. We purchased this house in 2018 and started turning it into an oasis. A 10,000 gallon pool and a pool house with 2 bathrooms and an outdoor shower. We kept the grandma's house vibe.

Stayed there for UGA game so everywhere had a surge. We would rather pay a little more and get the space and fire pit that came with this home.
Great place to stay while visiting our daughter at UGA for parents’ weekend.

This cottage sits on a property that was owned by a single family since 1947. Lots of big beautiful trees give you an old Athens feeling. We treat for fire ants and mosquitoes to make being outside more enjoyable. There is a screened in back porch overlooking the woods behind the property.
You can park in the driveway. Uber and Lyft service all of Athens. You can pick up the brewery trolley at Southern Brewing and use that to get downtown. Check their site for the schedule.

I am the co-founder of the Southern Brewing Company. My wife and I love traveling and staying in AirBnB properties. We love AirBnB so much that we decided to get a property and host. We call our spots The Butler Cottage (located near the brewery), the Narrow Woods Cottage (next to the Butler Cottage - both are a short walk through the woods to the brewery), and the Howe Cottage (next to Dudley Park and a short walk to downtown).
