Our stay at the shome was absolutely perfect. We loved having our coffee over looking the creek, seeing the cows graze on the hill. It was so peaceful…we were just in awe of the picturesque scenery! We picked some fresh mandarins off the tree, explored all around the gardens finding the most beautiful golden orb spider amongst the flowers, a sure highlight for my boys! The house is super cosy, beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed for our stay. The wifi worked perfectly although we preferred to switch off our phones & read our books while we were there. Kirsty’s pups popped down to say hello in the morning, Rango and Lenny. They were super friendly… my boys just adored them! Kirsty was a wonderful host, very friendly & easy to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here if you want some quality time with family & time out from the busyness of life! We hope to be back again one day. Thank you Kirsty & Rick for sharing your slice of heaven with the rest of us! 💜

Amazing stay at shome. A quiet, picturesque, peaceful place with lovely greenery and flowing water. Pleasure seeing the cows, horses and the cheeky dogs. Would easily recommend the stay. Darran and Jordan

What a piece of paradise! Stunning surroundings, peaceful location, well stocked kitchen, beautiful decor inside. The deck is absolutely wonderful for relaxing, with ample seating space all round. Perfect location for exploring the tablelands. We saw fireflies at night from the deck, and it was magical. We unfortunately didn't see the local platypus! Next time... We enjoyed the local fruits - purple passionfruit were particularly delicious! Amazing sleeps, comfy beds, coffee machine was a nice touch! Kirsty was so friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful place with us!

If you need a place to relax and calm down this is heaven. We very much enjoyed our stay with Kirsty. We loved the house and nature and everything provided.

We spent a beautiful long weekend at Shome. The house has a beautiful setting, overlooking the creek and dam, rolling green hills, cows, horses, chickens, and Kirsty's 3 lovely dogs. We swam in the dam just by the house, as well as at Millaa Milla falls which is close. The property is on the 'Waterfall circuit' (three beautiful waterfalls), and the Mungalli Creek Dairy so you'll have plenty to do; or you can sit on the big deck and enjoy it.
