River Road is a quiet, family-friendly residential neighborhood conveniently located a 10-15 drive or bike ride from the heart of Eugene--its trendy/funky Whiteaker District, the shops and entertainment of Downtown, and the University of Oregon's stunning campus and state-of-the art sports complexes.
This studio is located right across the street from the Ruth Bascom Riverbank path, offering stunning scenery and car-free access to all of Eugene's best features, and even to the neighboring town of Springfield. The property is so close to the Willamette River, you can even carry kayaks to several easy drop-in points a few minutes' walk from your front door!
Easily stock up on groceries and other essentials at one of the many grocery stores within a half-mile of your stay. If you're flying in and out, the property's location on the northwest of town offers a traffic-free 10-15 minute drive to Eugene Airport, avoiding Downtown congestion and saving you time and stress.

Street parking is generally available, and a spot in the driveway is available for our studio guests. Getting around by bike is easy, both on the dedicated Ruth Bascom Riverpath System, and on the dedicated bike lanes that run down River Road into the heart of Eugene. The Riverpath is also highly walkable, and there are sidewalks down River Road leading into town. Lyft and Uber are also active throughout town for easy rideshare availability.
Various bus lines run along River Road into downtown, though they are not the fastest way to get around...maps, schedules, and route planning tools can be accessed on the Lane Transit District website.
