The stylish dining room is perfect for enjoying a family meal which you can cook in the fully equipped country-style kitchen. The first floor offers a stylish family bathroom and three cosy bedrooms: a king-size room with delightful views, a bunk bedroom perfect for children, and a charming twin room. Steep cottage-style stairs lead up into a games room with table football and TV to plug in games consoles. This room has low ceilings and skylights which makes a great secret room for older children. Outside, the back courtyard provides a charming space for a morning coffee. Beyond the courtyard, the garden backs onto the River Ehen and is perfect for dining alfresco. Ennerdale Bridge has a choice of great places to eat and drink, with the surrounding valley providing miles of magical walks and forest trails. Loweswater, Wastwater and Crummock Water are all within 15 miles. Local landmarks include the Blakeley Raise Stone Circle, Longlands Lake and the friendly town of Cleator Moor (all within 5 miles). Heading west, the St Bees Head Heritage Coast (9 miles) is home to an RSPB reserve with chances to spot guillemots and razorbills.
