From the house, make the most of your proximity to the scenic lakes of Ennerdale Water, Crummock Water and Buttermere. Also head to the coast, 7.5 miles away, for long walks and days out by the sea. Stroll into the inviting property and pop the kettle on to make everyone a cup of coffee or tea. The kitchen here not only has underfloor heating but also all the equipment you might require when catering for your hungry party of friends and family. Pause at the table for a while to plan what you are going to rustle up for dinner using the fresh ingredients you have brought with you. Discover you have a handy utility room, with a washing machine and tumble dryer, for damp clothing after wet walks. Call everyone to the table in the lounge/diner for holiday meals together then recline on the comfortable seating as the wood burner crackles in the background. Find a film to watch together on the Smart TV or select a book to read. At the end of each exciting day, choose between the five sumptuous bedrooms, including the double at ground-floor level, which has an en-suite shower room and could suit guests with less mobility. Venture upstairs to discover two more double bedrooms, both with an en-suite shower room, and two rooms that can either be arranged as twins or super-king-sizes, depending on what you book in advance. One of these has an en-suite shower room, while the other benefits from sole use of the family bathroom. All the bedrooms up here have sloped ceilings.
