Very comfortable large house in the country side. Beautiful surroundings, great for walks. Good food in local pubs. We had a lovely stay with friends and our children.

This is the first time I've written a negative review when staying in a SuperHost house. We had issues with the price at the beginning: we ended up paying way more than advertised. The house was cold (15 degrees) when we arrived; much of the crockery and cutlery was dirty; the lights in the eating area flickered so we couldn't have them on; the two open fires that had been advertised werent working, but with insistence we were allowed to use one; the pillows were paper thin; the wifi on the kitchen tv was very poor; we had to replenish the toilet paper supplies; the dishwasher was hopeless; there were only 4 side plates and no oven gloves. The main road outside was noisy. We paid top dollar Christmas prices, so would have expected a bit more in return. Even leaving a welcome card, box of chocolates or bottle of Prosecco would have made a big difference. It wasn't a generous booking. We have stayed in much smaller places for much less money and felt more welcome and appreciated.
