We enjoyed our stay overall. Anita (property manager) & Maureen (who lives nearby) were both very helpful. I had inquired about a memory foam mattress and they bought a new topper for one of the beds! Very kind. The location is incredible. A short walk to the sea where we floated in the refreshing water on a hot day. A short walk to the village for snacks, visits with the horses, donkeys & sheep on the way. We loved the Beara Necessities cafe nearby, for a meal, coffee or wine. We wished we found it sooner. The house itself has character. The kitchen is functional but the oven was not the easiest to use. With a little digging around you will find the basic cooking equipment. Also be sure to look for the large fridge in the back room - we didn't notice it for a few days, lol! The beds are very firm, and getting hot water requires patience and planning to keep the extra charges in check. We enjoyed the selection of books and DVDs for a rainy day (although we had 8 days of sun!)

Our kids (5 and 2) keep asking to go back! We had so much fun in this gorgeous family home. You could feel the house is full of happy memories. It’s set up so well for kids with a brilliant garden, loads of toys, great space and walkable to village and beach. We loved our stay here surrounded by the most beautiful scenery and would definitely recommend.

This is a slice of heaven on earth. We loved everything about it. The Beara is peaceful and wild and magical, and this house has everything you'd need as a family to enjoy it- and so much more.

Such a beautiful unique home , stunning views and AMAZING garden . Really homely atmosphere in the house ,enjoyed all the lovingly made art works scattered throughout the house . Have already booked another stay , can't wait to go back , enjoyed exploring the local walks .
