Enjoy all that Eugene has to offer in this centrally located home-away-from-home! An easy drive to UO (1.3 miles), downtown, parks, shopping, and medical facilities, you'll appreciate easy and free street parking here. Perfect for UO families/friends, weekend getaways, business trip, or cozy home base to explore Eugene. You'll feel comfortable in this 2 bedroom with a complete kitchen, bathroom with tub, large living room with comfy sofa and lounge chair, and a dining room with seating for 4 The living room is quite large with a comfy sofa, Smart TV, and coffee table for putting your feet up and cozying up and watching a movie. You'll find board games, books, children's toys, and even some sports items you can take to the park, which is located just up the block. The bathroom comes complete with many toiletry items you may have left behind. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed, soft sheets, hanging space for clothes, easy to access plugs for your cell phones and even white/brown noise machines in case you want to listen to calming sounds as you fall asleep. Note that there is traffic noise as we are on corner of 18th St. It's not by a traffic light and it's not excessive, but you'll hear cars going by. For this reason, we have provided white noise machines in the bedrooms in case someone is a light sleeper. We find that the machines completely drown out sounds of cars driving by. The dining room has seating for 5 people and is a tranquil space to enjoy your meals. The kitchen is complete, with full sized appliances, and includes a microwave, dishwasher, espresso coffee maker, baking supplies, full range of pots & pans, flatware, glassware, etc. You'll also find some cooking ingredients and things like coffee and tea, and other goodies. Because of the house layout, there's no shared wall between my bedroom (where I spend 99% of my time when home) and your wing of the house. It's only my bathroom that has a shared wall with the kitchen, but again, I don't spend my time in my bathroom. So feel free to listen to music, watch TV, and go about your day. Truly, I just want you to feel at home! :)

We would also like to thank you for trying to find another place for us while we tried to deal with a hospital emergency, a marathon going on, and a university football game going on. The home was great - spacious, clean and had everything we needed. She even had games and books for entertainment. There was traffic noise, as noted in the listing, but the white noise machine was perfect and allowed me to fall asleep quickly. The neighborhood was nice and close to UO.
Great place, we had a wonderful stay!
This home was a great little weekend getaway with our 2 kiddos. Loved the layout and the beds/couch were cozy! There were toys and books for my kids to play with and even a little art station for my daughter to enjoy. There were kids plastic cups and silverware and tiny hot cocoa mugs which helped our family feel at home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need even some pantry items to be shared.

This is a very friendly and residential area comprised mostly of working professionals and retirees. There's a lovely park just on the next block where a lot of families gather to play baseball, tennis, use the playground, etc. This is not a party area and is just far enough from campus to not have a lot of the louder residences that can be found closer in.
Access to the house is very easy and all GPS apps will take you right to it. Parking is very easy (and free!) and you won't run into struggles finding a spot. There's a bus stop just half a block up on 18th St that can take you right to campus. Campus is just 1.3 miles away and downtown is just shy of that distance. Access to I-5 is also fairly easy. Within 15 minutes you'll pretty much reach any part of Eugene ranging from the mall, to large box stores, and all that this city has to offer.

Both of our kids graduated from UO and we have come to appreciate how great Eugene is. Our passions are dog rescue, music (Andrew is a musician), straw bale construction, and wild foraging.
