Good place to stay for a couple of days. Common areas have no AC (including 2nd bathroom), fans only. bedrooms do have good working ACs.

By far the best place we have stayed in Cartagena. An authentic colonial townhouse in a great location in the old city. The owner has clearly put a lot of effort into making the place warm and welcoming, while preserving many of the original historical features, including a staircase that is well maintained and like other staircases we saw in the old city. The 3rd story terrace is one of the great features. We used it every evening to have a cocktail and watch the sunset, which is one of the best views in the old city. The place was very clean and we had Milena came each day to tiddy-up and help with our laundry (which was a great luxury!). She was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is as described and it was easy for us to cook a few of our meals. The townhouse is in a great location, easily walkable to restaurants, shops, and the many local sites. There are also affordable taxis available in front of the complex. We love Cartagena and hope to return to Sandra's home soon.

Sandra's place is very nice. The location is amazing, close to everything, including the supermarket. the street is lively and busy, but its very safe and actually not noisy inside. my favorite part of the house was rooftop. it is so spacious and the view is incredible, great for watching people and sunset. Sandra was very responsive and gave us some good recommendations. The house definitely needs some face-lift and could benefit from some updates ( especially kitchen and bathrooms ), wich would make it just perfect. Overall we had a great time.
