Chatham Village Vacation Properties is a small, family owned boutique vacation rental business founded by Edward & Kathleen Skopas. They have vacationed in Chatham for over 30 years and have always dreamed of owning a property in this quaint and historic town. Edward completed a nearly 35 year corporate career working in technology with one of the largest healthcare companies in the US while Kathy completed a 34 year career as a teacher and coordinator of special education for a regional school system in Connecticut. In 2012 they purchased their first property and over the ensuing years have acquired several other historic homes. In late 2016 they decided to pursue a new chapter in their lives and focus on this new business venture full-time. All of their properties share several common attributes. They are located within a short walk to downtown Chatham and the many shops and restaurants on Main Street; they are within walking distance to the beach; they are historically significant and reflect the vintage history of Old Cape Cod and Chatham; they exude unique character and reflect the rich nautical and coastal charm of this seaside village. Edward and Kathleen have worked tirelessly to restore and renovate these properties while retaining all of their vintage charm and historic significance. They are actively engaged in the ongoing marketing and management of this family owned vacation rental business.
