Trenton · 精品酒店内的房间 · 1室1床1.0卫 · 可住2人 · Open Hearth Inn Suite 2 - 10 min to Acadia!
Suite 2 is a beautiful room located on the 1st floor in the 200-year-old main building with a queen bed, full bath, large living room with television, A/C, stunning hardwood floors, hairdryer, coffee pot, microwave, mini-fridge, iron/ironing board, and free wifi. As with all guests who join our Ohana, there is full access to the indoor kitchen downstairs in the main building, the outdoor kitchen and grill, full access to the common use hot tub, and the bonfire pit on the back lawn. The basis of the Open Hearth Inn is the main house, built in the 1820's it's best known for its historic charm. One of 20 rooms and everyone has plenty of space to stretch outside, gather in the old hearth room and play some board games, stretch out on the couch and watch movies on the common use 70" tv, make some new friends, and explore the real reason we call it 'Ohana'. All Suites (5 in total) are located in the oldest part of the main building where you will find much of the original history of this circa 1820s home. The front door facing the road is the best entrance for the suites. You'll open the large wooden door and step into a piece of history. Suites 1 (to the left) and 2 (to the right) are located downstairs. Traveling up the stairs you will reach Suite 3 (to the left), Suite 4 (to the right), and Suite 5 (directly back). Staying in the Suites is best if you want to enjoy the oldest part of our centuries-old home. :)
We absolutely enjoyed our stay. We chose to stay here since it was fairly close to Acadia and we’re very happy. It’s both rustic and has every amenity needed. We enjoyed time by the fire pit with the other guests chatting. We also made friends with another couple in the kitchen over a pot of coffee. We had a mini fridge in our room but still used the communal kitchen for the freezer and had no issues. The room was perfect and incredibly clean. Everyone staying there was super respectful and we never were woken up by noise. We definitely recommend this place and hope to come back soon. It was a perfect vacation.
Great place to stay for when you visit Acadia National Park! The hottub was such a great way to end our days, very complete kitchen (shared), however I could see the place becoming very busy for hottub/kitchen during the high season (we only had a few other rooms booked, so was perfectly fine almost always both free). The room's wallpapers can feel a bit overwhelming if ever you stay inside the room because of rainy days, but also makes part of the charm of the whole place! Would go again.
Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park! Quaint and quiet inn! Really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend!
Trenton is the town just off of Mount Desert Island which is home to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. We are just a mile from the first park picnic area and shortly after the fabled trails of Acadia including Beehive, Precipice, Cadillac Mtn, Beech Mtn, Little Long Pond, and all the popular tours like boating, puffins, lobstering, and lighthouses! It's an adventurer's paradise and that is exactly why we bought the Open Hearth Inn ;).
Free parking right outside your door! Bakery and Lunts Lobster shop within about a 1 min walk just across the road. Trenton is the gateway to Acadia and the park starts just half a mile down the road!
Acadia National Park is just a quick 10 mins down the road and the of Bar Harbor a mere 20 mins, and Bar Harbor Airport is just 5 mins down the road from the inn as well. Experience the beauty of Mount Desert Island without the hustle and bustle of downtown Bar Harbor while still being fairly close to anything you could possibly need for the best Maine adventure. No matter the time of year; spring, summer, autumn, or winter The Open Hearth will always be waiting for you.
