This was our second week at Tee’s house so we knew exactly what to expect; an excellent hostess throughout our stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house to anybody staying in the area.

Unfortunately we found this Cottage wanting. The property was undergoing renovations, but has not been advertised as such. The listing states 'Entire Cottage', however 3 of the 4 rooms of the ground floor of the cottage were either locked away or marked 'Private: No entry'. These rooms clearly did not have heating as cold drafts were coming from these. There was no usable living room, making this listing entirely unsuitable for families - no mention of this in the listing. The only space where more than 2 people can gather in the property is the kitchen. The kitchen's a good size, but there was a severe lack of amenity - no toaster, microwave, iron or even wine glasses. The handles on some of the kitchen cabinets have screw heads protruding which was unsafe. Very steep staircase without safety gate at the top, making it entirely unsuitable for children. Bedrooms were nice with good amenity, but the windows did not open in one of the rooms- unsafe from a fire safety standard.
