Tucked back from the road on five and a half acres, yet near Charlottesville, wineries, and Shenandoah National Park, our quiet haven provides the perfect getaway. Our property is well cared for and fully updated with all the modern comforts and fast fiber internet you could need for a fun weekend or extended stay. Come and enjoy the tranquility of our home! Step into your cozy retreat with an open living area offering a spacious couch, leather chair, and a smart TV. While we don’t offer cable, each TV is equipped with built-in Roku for watching all of your guilty pleasures. Go ahead, binge-watch your favorite show, no judgment here! The kitchen is stocked with cookware, a Keurig coffee maker, and some of our favorite cookbooks. A convenient half bathroom houses the washer and dryer, while the pantry is stocked with board games and cards for your entertainment. The primary bedroom on the main floor features a king-size bed, a smart TV, a roomy closet with hangers, and a luxurious bathroom complete with a shower, bathtub, and a separate toilet area. Upstairs, the second bedroom boasts a work desk with a monitor. The third bedroom is perfect for families as it holds a queen bed and two twin beds! Fresh linens and plenty of towels are provided for all guests, and you can stay connected with fast fiber internet Wi-Fi throughout the house. Step outside onto the back porch, where you'll find a shaded table and a BBQ grill for outdoor dining. In the front yard, a chiminea and firewood await, along with two comfy rocking chairs to enjoy a cozy fire. At night, grab the binoculars under the living room TV to gaze at the stars! Amanda’s home is such a gem! The common area was very open and spacious, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and, most of all, Amanda was such a wonderful and helpful host!
I loved staying at Amanda’s house! The wooded, private five acre property was beautiful even in the middle of winter. We felt right at home, safe, and close (Massanutten 40 minutes, downtown Charlottesville 35 minutes, Charlottesville airport 15 minutes, and a good selection of stores 10 minutes away) to every outing we made. One night I had family over to cook supper together and there was plenty of room for all of us in the kitchen and dinning area. We would spend our mornings sipping coffee and watching the sun rise over the ridge. At night, we would walk the dogs around the property and stare up at the sky. This place is magic, can’t wait to stay again.
I have stayed at other AirBnB facilities. But this is the best I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. The host was proactive and communicate with me as often as I had questions, which were answered immediately. She was friendly, kind and open. The house was immaculate. Everything we needed was available. I felt as if I was HOME. Very comfortable. Whenever I’m in the area again, I will not hesitate to book with Amanda again. She made the experience completely effortless. Thank you for providing top notch facilities with nice people!!
We had a wonderful stay! The house is great, clean, and has everything you would need. Amanda was quick to respond to our inquiries. From the house it was an easy drive to Shenandoah National Park and many wineries are nearby (we recommend Early Mountain and Pippin Hill). We will definitely be staying here again!
