Easily located just 45-60 minutes from San Juan, Casa Fortaleza evokes elements of Viejo San Juan, from its front arches and original light fixtures to the wrought iron, brass accents, and vintage antique wood furniture throughout. I have traveled pretty extensively throughout the Caribbean, and when I want to stay somewhere, I look for Location, Value, Safety and Comfort. The location of Sara's home was less than 5 minutes from the convention we needed to be at. The location was also very central in Fajardo, and everything nearby (restaurants, grocery, other shopping, the coast/beaches) made this a slam dunk. The value of Sara's home was incredible in comparison to other hotels and other airbnbs. We were looking for a week long stay, and the value that was offered was perfect. The safety of the home and the area - outstanding. Sara has a locking gate on the porch, a locking front door, and several other locking doors. Sitting out on the patio in the evenings behind a beautiful locked gate made the stay very authentic and very safe. The comfort was second to none. Furniture, fixtures, bedding, linens - everything one could need. Sara, however, made this a very special experience. Thank you.
Beautiful home! Exactly as described only better when you see it in person. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet but conveniently located to the beach and kiosks for a day/evening out. The owners are amazing you can tell this home means so much to them by the care and love put into it from the front of the home to the backyard. Thank you for an amazing stay! We can’t wait to come back again!
This was the most stocked Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. There were many places to sit and relax as a group or individually, as well as a great view. I didn’t want to leave by the end of my trip!

Absolutely beautiful!! Sara was one of the best guest I’ve stayed with! She was very commutative and responded within less than hour. Gave us many many list of options for food places and many activities. Her house was everything and more as what you saw in the pictures. Everything was extremely clean too! Just over all the best experience I’ve had so far and I would stay at this place every year!
