REASONS TO LOVE THE LOG CABIN - The 1000-square-foot log cabin was crafted from the very trees cleared to make way for its construction creating a cozy and light-filled space - There is over 10 kilometers of private trails perfect for hiking - A fire pit with Muskoka chairs perfect for bonfires - Intentionally designed to offer a "disconnected" experience and therefore does NOT have Wi-Fi & cell reception is moderate (calls will likely go through, but data is spotty!) OUTDOORS The real magic of this retreat lies outside. With over 10 kilometers of private trails out your backdoor, you can spend the day getting lost exploring the natural beauty of the surrounding forest. Just 15 minutes from Bracebridge, you're conveniently close to town, yet far enough away to enjoy the serenity and feel the intimacy with your group during your stay. Take in panoramic forest views, grill up a delicious meal on the BBQ, or relax around the fire pit late in the evening and indulge in cozy conversation over toasty marshmallows. The great outdoors is truly your playground. LIVING SPACE The cabin offers two cozy sitting areas for relaxation. Warm up by the wood stove on cooler summer evenings, or enjoy entertainment on the TV/DVD player with our collection of DVDs on a rainy day. In the sleeping nook, there’s an additional sleeping space that also acts as the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee. If you're up for it, challenge your friends to a game of shuffleboard before hitting the trails for the day. BEDROOMS The cabin features two spacious bedrooms, each with generous closet space. The primary bedroom boasts a comfortable queen-sized bed, with a cozy chaise lounge offering the perfect spot for morning reading or simply taking in the forest views. The second bedroom features a versatile bunk bed with a double and a single bed, perfect for families or friends. Additionally, the secondary lounge area offers a cozy couch for one person to sleep on, ensuring comfortable sleeping arrangements for everyone. The large windows in each bedroom flood the rooms with natural light, and you’ll be in no rush to throw the covers off as you take in surrounding landscape. DINING & KITCHEN The cabin's kitchen is fully equipped for your culinary needs. You'll find appliances such as a stove, fridge, microwave, espresso machine, coffee maker, and kettle. Basic pots and pans, as well as dishes and cutlery, are also provided. Enjoy serving up sweet homemade meals while surrounded by loved ones in the quaint dining room. Our cottage provides a relaxing retreat in nature, and with nature comes bugs! Please be aware that the natural environment can bring an increase in mosquitoes during certain seasons. We recommend bringing bug spray to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay.
