We had a great stay and the house is beautiful in design and in a magnificent location. The view is heavenly. It’s well equipped and everything works well. Only issue is the tree species has tiny spikes that fly everywhere so shake the outside cushions vigorously! Would love some tea towels. But five stars! Clara was wonderful. Make sure you dine at Mudbrick and Ke Maha.

The house is very nice and the views are absolutely spectacular. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who is shorter than 5 foot 6 inches (1.65 meters). It’s a beautiful and amazing home and we had a great time staying there so I don’t want to say anything negative, but unfortunately it just isn’t a good option for anyone taller than about five and a half feet. The top of the bathroom sinks are only about 26-28 inches off the floor so you have to stoop or bend down to use them. Thats minor but the kitchen vent hood above the stove is worse…its large…roughly 2/3 the size of the kitchen island. This would be ok except that the bottom of the vent hood is only 5’ 4” tall and if you’re over 5 foot five you hit your head on the vent hood when using sink or stove. It’s also extremely difficult to cook as you have to bend your neck way over to use the stove and if people stand across the island from one another they can’t see the other’s face. Wow - what an incredibly beautiful spot! The photos are very accurate but the feeling when you are there with floor to ceiling glass all around is so special. It’s like you are living in nature and is very private. We just loved it and gushed on about the view while sitting outside on the comfortable deck furniture. The hosts were responsive and accommodated a slightly early arrival. We would enthusiastically recommend the house to our friends and stay again for sure if we have the chance. *The only point to note is the master bathroom is completely open to the master suite - behind the dressing room but no door separating the toilet/privacy to the suite if that might bother you. I didn’t love it but would not have that keep me from returning. There is a powder room you can use and a guest bath.

Most gorgeous property I’ve ever experienced. Thoughtfully laid out, high end appliances, linens, lighting, and beautiful landscaping. This place is a must for anyone wanting a serene and lux enclave on a getaway to Waiheke.
