Tom is an excellent host, thank you for such a lovely stay, we felt right at home. We so appreciated how quiet and peaceful it was inside and the great natural light. The bed was also super comfortable. Tom was the most friendly host, he made sure we had everything we needed, and was helpful with all questions we had. Auston is such a great and friendly city! We loved and would recommend: Turkey Creek Hike Barton Springs- tricky parking situation The Well (clean food) Terry Blacks- fantastic bbq and super friendly staff: get there on early side (11am) to avoid the line Other places we checked out: Riverplace hike: do earlier in day to avoid sun/heat Wild Basin Hike: smaller park and only about 2 miles of trails Ma’coco- ok Mexican Travel tip: Austin can be confusing to drive around, turn on ‘avoid tolls’ on maps app. Two lanes that slightly vary to avoid a light or two but charge tolls to go the faster route. Can’t recommend Tom’s place enough!!! Book it now!

Definitely recommend staying here! It’s around a 10-15 min walk to bars and restaurants on what seemed like the “trendier” side of east sixth. Not super crowded and rowdy, but still lots of people and lots of options. We didn’t want to go out in the dirty sixth area, but we still wanted some night life and this was perfect. We walked home at night and felt safe. It’s also close to great coffee and food trucks! Definitely recommend figure 8 coffee and granny’s tacos. The actual airbnb is very nice, comfy, and clean. Plenty of towels, dishes, etc. The private rooftop is a nice add! Tom was incredibly responsive before and during the stay. He even helped us figure out an early check in. Can’t go wrong with this spot!

Such a serene a stylish abode. Well-appointed and modern. Was perfect and they were so accommodating. Really was the perfect way to leave Austin for the summer. Hopefully get a chance to stay again when I come back.
