The Hula Hideout was perfect for our family. Great area to eat outside at, had all the extras we needed and our boys loved the game room. Amazing host and very responsive and helpful. Went out of his way to make my husbands birthday even more special. Highly recommend if you are looking to stay out of the tourist craziness. We hope to be back again.
The Hula Hideout was perfect. The home is very comfortable and just a beautiful place to relax when not exploring the island. My favorite thing about the HH was the backyard views of the sunrise and sunset on the Wai'anae Range. The backyard itself is so serene and picturesque - absolutely lives up to the photos. Richard was an awesome host too. He offered an early check-in & followed up with me multiple times to see if they're was anything he could do to make our stay better. He put me in touch with Mike&Gianna who rented us a really nice Jeep and took my family on a boat ride up the west coast). Richard had huge gift basket waiting for us when we first arrived. Himself & another co-host Greg helped adjust the telescope to show us the full moon late in the evening. Great hosts all around. The game room was tons of fun. I was able to get my entire family in there playing Foosball, air hockey and 8-ball. The house is relaxing & has everything you can think of. Wonderful experience.
I don’t have enough space to type all the good things to say about Ricardo and his property. This was the first trip to Hawaii for our kids and we wanted to make sure it was memorable, even during time spent in the house. There were so many things to do when we were there. The arcade games, air hockey, and the pool table. The hot tub, yard games, and outdoor fire pit. Not to mention the bikes for riding around the neighborhood, and enough beach toys for teens and toddlers alike!! The kitchen was equipped with any kind of gadget you could possibly need, and he even included some local treats to try for yourself!! The outdoor grill was perfect for late night dinners :) Ricardo immediately responded to any and all questions we had, and didn’t hesitate to make sure we had whatever we needed to make this trip memorable. This property is definitely worth booking, and we look forward to visiting again in the future and staying at one of Ricardo’s properties!

Nestled amidst breathtaking mountain views, this hideaway provided the perfect backdrop for our family vacation. From serene atmosphere to abundant amenities, every moment was joy-filled. Outdoor meals by the firepit were highlights, kids loved the toys, and adults enjoyed shooting pool. Special thanks to Richard, our host, for outstanding hospitality. His attention to detail truly set Hula Hideout apart. Plus, the nearby beaches offered endless fun in the sun and thrilling water activities. In one word, our stay: "excellent." There is so much to say about our incredible stay! Richard helped to make it an incredible experience. From the personal touches (helped decorate for our daughter’s birthday), responsiveness (checked in on us and every day to ensure everything was good to go), recommendations (sent us info on local spots and points of contact for activities), and accommodations - everything was beyond spectacular!! Our kids enjoyed every amenity. We left feeling like this was home. We loved the cleanliness, appliances (we plan on buying a few items when we get home), condiments (check in before you buy additional cooking supplies), and all of the hospitality! We invited Richard and his family over for a BBQ because of how amazing he was. He took our kiddos out for a ride on his golf cart. We are so grateful for the hospitality. The cost was well worth it and we plan on visiting again - next time with family to share the beautiful home next door!! By far the best Airbnb we have stayed at. Thank you!!!
