This cabin home is indeed rustic, as stated in the description it is not a full service hotel. Moniques Airbnb is filled with historical charm and is comfortable. I needed solitude and I got it. I appreciated having an ice chest for my refrigerated items and glad there’s an outhouse close by for that midnight potty run. Monique was kind enough to check in on me and take care of my needs as they arose. The nearby train was a surprise at first but I got use to it and was supplied with earplugs, it doesn’t come often, Monique reminded me that the trains were unavoidable since this is a logging community. There are five star resort hotels in town and even they can’t avoid the train tracks nearby. Overall, I was pleased and well taken care of.

Comfortable, quite rustic cabin with some great special touches. Clean outhouse. Very much enjoyed meeting our host. She was great. Even though we had a great time, this cabin lacked the amenities we are use to.

What a gem! Close to Sandpoint and all the happenings of this amazing lil town. Monique was an awesome host, was never in our space but was always close by. Her lil dog and her sons dog were great with my son. He had fun playing fetch with Dale. We stayed 4 nights and went to silver wood theme park two days in a row:) It was so nice to come back and have a comfy bed to sleep in. The cabin is rustic but well kept and even though the train went by throughout the evening we slept through it without any issues. The first night there was a nice lightning storm and we lost power but it was back on by morning. The property is down two long dirt roads out in the middle of nowhere-so when the sun went down the stars spectacular! We were sad to leave... and are already planning to come back!
