We really enjoyed staying in Darryl's apartment, we stayed for 6 days. I gave the maximum ratings for all parameters because for such a price it was impossible to find my own housing anywhere else. This is an ideal option for those who want to see New York and its surroundings, but are on a limited budget and want to live independently. Directly from the house (around the corner, 1 minute walk) there is a direct bus every half hour to the Port Authority in the very center of Manhattan, running around the clock. Or you can walk to the Light Train and take one PATH transfer to the World Trade Center. Once again, this is an option for those whose priority is price/quality. We wanted to stay at Darryl's on our return trip, but unfortunately the place was busy, otherwise we would definitely stay again!

the price was perfect, the place was not acceptable. There was a bag of clothes hair in the shower very small needs some upgrading.

Pros: Daryll was very responsive and helpful. Clean. Keurig, microwave, small fridge, roll out bed under primary bed. Quaint. Cons: Toll was closed to cash pay, had to risk going through the EzPass lane, not sure what type of ticket I’m going to be getting. Parking was non-existent. Had to park in gated area that luckily I didn’t get a ticket for. No living room furniture except two fold up chairs and a tv dinner fold up table. Notes: this compares to a small “in-law” apartment.
