We used the cabin as a base for a family wedding. Some very happy hours on the decking with coffee and champagne. Fabulous location with great sunsets and bird life

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, Archie was very responsive and accommodating, and the lodge was beautiful. We were attending a wedding nearby and using taxis to get between the venue and lodge, so the gate was a bit of a problem - we had to do a couple of mins walk in the pitch black through a wood to get to the cabin and ensure the gate was locked. It'd be absolutely fine with a car.

The log is as beutifull as Archie describes. Clean, nice and fantastic. We would come back.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Archie's log cabin. Everything you could possibly need and tucked away in a nice secluded location. Amazing views to wake up to. Lots of places to walk and a few nice little pubs a short walk along the main road. Great communication from the host Archie. We will definitely will be staying here again!
