Staying at Aminta's place was a nice respite from my typical day-to-day! I appreciated that she left us very thoughtful snacks and goodies to make us feel right at home. She was quick to respond and friendly. Her place was cute and tidy. Self check-in was very convenient and the place was private and peaceful. It was a lovely place to stay!

This is a very cute place close to the Temescal neighborhood and not far from the Uptown area - both known for great restaurants. The unit is bright and well appointed. The kitchen was a great place to cook and I especially appreciated the ample space to store my personal items. It's important to note that there are few, somewhat steep stairs going into the unit and again from the livingroom to the kitchen and bathroom area. Aminta and Gabrielle are great hosts. I appreciated their care and responsiveness.

The private cottage was clean and fully furnished with extra amenities as one might find in a hotel but with a personal touch. It was a quiet and peaceful experience as the cottage is on a quiet side street and not on a busy main road. Public transportation is within walking distance. Aminta and Gabrielle were highly responsive and friendly; Everything was as described in the listing. Great people and great Oakland neighborhood!

Nice little spot if you’re staying in Oakland for a few days. There’s a private parking spot in the back so you won’t need to park on the street, and MacArthur BART stop is only ~10m walk away if you want to head into SF
