For your convenience, a shared bathroom maintains the vintage aesthetic while offering modern amenities, including a rainfall shower and exquisite tilework. Welcome to my charming Airbnb retreat in a historic 1914 house! Step back in time and experience the unique ambiance of this beautifully preserved heritage home. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Once inside the house there is a big hallway to hang your coat and a small table with a microwave to heat up food. The old stairs will take you upstairs to your room. This spacious and cozy room is a true gem that offers a glimpse into the past while providing all the modern comforts you need for a delightful stay. The room boasts high ceilings, original hardwood floors, and period-correct furnishings that evoke the elegance and craftsmanship of a bygone era. Sunlight streams through the large windows, filling the space with a warm and inviting glow. You are welcome to enjoy the rockers on the front porch like so many do in this neighborhood. The backyard is shared with all other guests in the house and offers more than enough space for everyone to hang out. Feel free to use the fire pit and enjoy the seating around it. You won't be disappointed. That's a promise.

Best price in the area, and I liked that it was just a room and i didn't have to interact with anyone, i also liked the high ceilings and big windows, and the trees in the back. But if you're in one of the bedrooms in the back of the house, you might need earplugs or the street noise might wake you up in the morning around 6.

Perfect place to crash on a quick trip to Wilmington. Exactly as described.

There’s a bit to say about this place, it is simple and provides the basic needs as long as you read there is no shared spaces- other than a walk in area you just stay in your room- you definitely get what you pay for. The water from the shower commonly leaked out on the floor& is not meant for more than one person at a time. There was no hand towels to be found, other than the washcloth provided. The older air unit was so loud we preferred to sleep sweating than to hear it. There was a roach crawling up the wall when we laid down to sleep. The lock on the bathroom door was tough to work and the door did not stay shut without that.. we were not able to sleep through the night well with lots of outside sounds as it didn’t seem to be super insulated. Otherwise was a place to lay our head at night- we must have caught it on an off day. The people sharing the space with us kept leaving poop stains in the toilet. Overall not terrible but not pleasant either..
