Your space will be the entire lower level of the home, which has a kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom, bathroom and laundry room with its own private entry as well as a small deck at the back of home overlooking the forest.

We had a great stay, relaxing gateway and I finally saw the owls at the West Coast Falconry (reason for visiting the area). The unit is just as described, pretty spacious for 2 people (and a pup!) and had everything we needed (coffee, tea, shampoos, etc). It was easy to find thanks to the instructions in the app and arrows on the trees. The host thought of everything, it was really nicely decorated and well stocked. I would recommend to bring slippers as the tile floor gets a bit cold during winter months.

My husband had a really nice getaway at John's place. Everything was as described. It is important to note that the apartment is a basement apartment and you will hear the host family moving about. Didn't cause disturbance, but good to know if you want a very private feel. Host is very accommodating and responsive. Great surroundings and the local cafe had great food! A nice place to get away to if you want to enjoy nature. Thanks for a great stay!

Absolutely amazing! Amazing getaway to help you reset and reconnect with your partner or yourself. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Kitchen had everything you need. Place was cozy. Instructions to find the place were great and spot on.

Craving espresso or latte with a freshly made pastry, the locally run “Clover Cafe” will not disappoint. They have breakfast lunch and dinner as well as live music on Saturday nights so check it out, it’s only 5 minutes away!
Collins Lake is only 10 minutes away and is the locals hotspot for some of the best ice cream for miles around! Not to mention the fishing boat rentals as well as double decker pontoon boats with slides also available at the lake. Bullards Bar Reservoir and Lake Francis are other hot spots people like to recreate at with their stand up paddleboards and any other flotation device or ski boat. There are good single track mountain biking trails you can rip if that is your jam too or just hike them as you enjoy the view of the emerald water from above.
Want to pick up a few groceries or a tasty sandwich, not a worry! Oregon House Grocery and Deli is minutes away and has got you covered!
Some locals walk the streets to the store or ride bikes but typically you need a vehicle to get around.
