Loved it!!
Great little cabin for a getaway without having to get too far away. We wanted to disconnect without having to drive too far from the Springs, and this fit the bill perfectly for two couples and three teenagers. Plenty of sleeping space, kitchen gad everything we needed, comfy furniture, and the teens had plenty to keep occupied. Definitely recommend!
If visiting during winter months, be sure to have AWD/4WD to navigate the drive way. The view is worth it, but without the right vehicle you won’t make it if there’s snow or ice! The hot tub is great. We would have liked a few more towels and wash cloths. Thanks to the washer and dryer, we made it work.

This review is regarding have a family of 4 and some important notes for anyone traveling with a family. Only stayed for two nights. The hot tub was down, but that was not an issue for us. A.) Hands down beautiful location, so peaceful and amazing and views B.) All the rooms are on separate floors, with the bunk beds, being on the bottom floor. With small kids, this is not ideal. C.) Everyone has their own idea of a comfortable mattress, for us this was not it. This is a complete personal opinion. D) The only con , there is mouse poison pellets in the pots and pans in the lazy Susan (which I get being in the mountains, but.....should not be where you make/use for food) E.) The host is extremely communicated and we felt very welcomed, thank you so much.

You can see Pikes Peak to the east and various mountain ranges to the west, with The Sawatch Range, Collegiate Peaks, and the north end of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains visible on clear days. The west-facing deck offers spectacular views of the valley and nearby granite outcroppings, including Dome Rock. Hummingbird feeders attract curious hummingbirds as you relax on the deck with your family.
