We had the most wonderful time in Claudia and Jag's beautiful chateau. They are fantastic hosts and gave us lots of great recommendations for restaurants, hikes and events. There's lots to do and discover around the area. Hiking in the Pyrenees, relaxing by the pool and the delicious breakfast were our highlights. We'll be back!

Our stay at Château Mont Jolly was just lovely. Not only were the castle and the pool breathtaking, but Claudia was also a great host. She was so attentive and kind that made us feel at home. Breakfast at this spot was perfect too. We also went for a nice walk in the surroundings of the castle, in spite of the rain. To sum up, its a perfect place to relax and have a great weekend. 10/10.

Incredible venue and hosts. Claudia made us feel like we were extended family from the moment we arrived. We felt so at home. The communication was excellent from before we arrived, and during our stay we were awarded all the local knowledge of where to head and what to do. Amazing history to Mount Joly and we spent a very pleasant evening learning all about the house over a bottle of the local wine with Claudia. Highly recommended for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Château Mont Joly ist ein Paradies. Die Liebe zum Leben, die hier eingebracht wurde und wird, ist in allem zu spüren. Warmen Dank an Claudia und Familie! Neben den Freuden in Château Mont Joly war der Aufenthalt erfüllt mit Schwimmen im Atlantik (Surf-Sandstrand Bidart, Parkplatz an der Kirche empfehlenswert), Shopping in Pau (Boutique Caroll: charmante Mitarbeiter), Wandern am Pic Midi und Baden im dortigen Gletschersee, Weinprobe und -kauf in den nahen Weingütern Château Jolys und Clos Thou. Auch der Besuch des Marktes im Nachbarort Jurancon (offen Freitag 8-12 Uhr) war ein Bad in Liebenswürdigkeit und Köstlichkeiten (Parkplatz Rue Louis Barthou empfehlenswert).

Lieu plein de charme, calme absolu, vue magnifique sur les montagnes et le vignoble, petit déjeuner très copieux, et surtout des hôtes très charmants et accueillants. Nous avons adoré !
