1 Star Cottages is a beautiful pet friendly property, which has recently been renovated to a high standard. The cottage is located on the outskirts of Freshwater it has parking for 2 vehicles. Once part of the Star Public House, 1 Star Cottages is a wonderful pet friendly property that has recently been re-renovated and finished to a high standard and will not disappoint as it is a real home from home. The property has a bright and airy sitting room with comfy seating, TV and dining table and chairs. The kitchen has been meticulously planned and well-equipped with induction hob, Original capsule Nespresso machine, hose tap and Unika worktop rods for when you have hot pans after cooking a delicious meal with the abundance of local produce you can find in the local shops of Freshwater. Off of the kitchen you will find a shower room with WC and heated towel rail, follow the hallway to a door that leads you out to the bright and spacious terraced garden. There is a wooden garden table and chairs, lawns for the children to play on and off-road parking at the rear of the property. The stairs from the lounge to the first floor leads you to the landing where you will find a twin bedroom with original feature brick wall, a family bathroom with shower over bath and heated towel rail, a master bedroom and a bunk bedroom with desk workstation with monitor for if you can't quite switch off from work and need to plug in for a few hours. 1 Star Cottage is a lovely property that is in a great location in order to explore the Island, whether you fancy a walk in to the main town of Freshwater to look at the shops and enjoy a bite to eat or fancy the short drive to the beach of Freshwater Bay. This property is a great place to base yourself for an Island adventure. Additional Information: One well behaved dog welcome (small additional payment) Children over the age of two welcome, sorry no babies. Barbecue provided. Please provide your own Charcoal. Please leave the barbecue in the condition you would wish to find it. Thank you in advance. The bedding is non feather. Car parking at the back of the property for 2 cars.

Freshwater is in the West Wight area of the Island and has some of the most spectacular scenery the island has to offer.
If you enjoy your walks then a walk up to Tennyson Down is a must, this leads onto The Needles Battery where you will be able to see The Needles, this walk is used for the last part of the Walk The Wight which is a yearly run charity event.
For a great day out Tapnell Farm has a lot to offer, from the animals to the wet and wild Aqua park, football golf and once you have enjoyed the day you can go and eat at the onsite restaurant The Cow.
The Needles is a short drive away where you can watch them glass blowing at Alum Bay Glass to making sweets at the Sweet Manufactory to then making your own decorative coloured sand ornament, a ride down on the chairlift where you can see the coloured sand cliffs and you can take a short boat ride out and take a closer look at The Needles.
If you enjoy a game of Golf then Freshwater Bay Golf Club is a 5 minute drive away.
There are some beautiful places to eat from On the Rocks in Yarmouth to The Hut at Cowell Bay
Located close to Cowell Bay and Totland Bay where you will be able to catch the most stunning sunsets.
