Jim and Barbara were great hosts. They were very friendly, proactive and responsive. We were welcomed with a dozen fresh eggs and delicious banana bread! The location is very close to Kurtin and met our needs. The outside property was very beautiful and well maintained. Lots of games, fire pits and siting areas and a beautiful tank on the property for relaxation. The house is a little dated, but felt comfortable. Would recommend the property for any needs, especially to attend an Aggie game.

This was our second stay in The Hideaway! This time brought friends with us and we all agreed that we would definitely be back again soon! Thanks Jim and Barbara for your wonderful hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful. Especially at night when all the delicate lights are on. There is also a great pond to fish. I wish we would have brought our fishing poles! The beds sleep very comfortably. We certainly recommend this location! If we are ever in the area again, we hope to stay at The Hideaway. Both Mr. Jim and Mrs. Barbara are fantastic hosts!

such a tranquil place. a little taste of the farm. fresh baked banana bread with praline icing and farm fresh eggs waiting on arrival. night time ambience was the highlight of the stay- with various lit/fanned seating areas around the property. perfect for families.

Beautiful and peaceful experience. Jim and Barbara were exceptional hosts. We are so thankful for their hospitality and sharing the beautiful homestead. What a gem!
