At Hillview Hideaway peaceful pockets of nature are waiting for you to explore. You can unwind in this peaceful country setting inside the South Downs National Park- or you can put on your hiking boots & walk right onto the miles of footpaths that cross the park. We are minutes from the sea & all the beauty & adventure it provides. We are 5 miles from Arundel & 25 minutes by train to Brighton in the sunniest part of England. Chichester, the Witterings, & Goodwood are also a short drive away. The listing is for one of two suites in the guest house. Each suite has a king size bed, private bath and kitchenette consisting of a refrigerator, combination microwave and kettle. We also provide a list of other appliances you can use during your stay- everything from a toaster to an air fryer. The garden, gym and spa are shared spaces. If you would like to book a time to use the spa and gym privately, that can be arranged. You can book both rooms for a discounted rate. Please note that pets are by prior arrangement only. For the comfort and safety of all our guests we only allow one pet booking on site at a time.

Really nice place, loved having the garden just outside the door. We had a great time sitting in the sun, admiring the view. Also the sauna and steak room were really great, just perfect for a relaxing stay
Lovely stay. Chris and Keli have a beautiful space and both really lovely people. Nothing too much of a problem, offered to take us into town for taxis if we needed. Would stay again. Top hosts.

Stayed for 1 night and had a lovely time. Beautiful area with great places to walk and lovely views. The nearby town was within walking distance and despite it being wet and rainy we had a great time seeing what’s around. The spa was a highlight of our stay, super relaxing and peaceful - even had a cold plunge pool. K was very helpful, proactive and quick to respond to any questions we had. The room we stayed in was very clean and we loved the decor, bathroom was also very nice and clean. 10/10 definitely recommend staying here!

We are inside the South Downs National Park on Highdown Hill. There is a campsite and a horse feed farm on the same farm track as us. Across the top of the hill is a popular dog walking trail and on the other side is a pick your own farm and shop. Also on the hill is the Highdown Hotel with a tea room and restaurant.
In the village of Angmering, which is a 20 minute walk, there is everything you need for your trip. If you want to cook or bbq, there is a wonderful butcher and a great greengrocer, as well as a Co-op with a post office. If you’d like to skip the cooking we have a few tasty sit-down restaurants, an Indian takeaway and a great fish and chip shop. There are also a couple of options for breakfast. We provide an extensive list of food options for the area including takeaways and deliveries.
We are 2 miles from the sea and in between the Rivers Arun and Adur. Arundel is 5 miles and Goodwood is 15 miles to the west. Worthing is 6 miles and Brighton is 15 miles to the east.
Our place can easily be accessed by car, we are near the A24 and A27 . There is a train station and taxi stand on the other side of the village just over 2 miles away. There are trains to Gatwick Airport, Brighton, Chichester and Portland. If a night out in Brighton is in your plans, an uber to our place is around £60.
