Tierra Bella Cabaña is situated on a 1 acre property in the Costa Rican Jungle. Enjoy exploring the property of fruit trees, a fish pond and a trail through mature rain forest which is host to howler monkeys, toucans and other wildlife. Maximize your vacation time by purchasing one or several of our grocery boxes to stock the fridge or book an onsite massage. Nearby attractions include spectacular waterfalls, hot springs, Dinoland, and lakes. The cabaña is airy with basic rooms, a well equipped kitchen, cozy living room and wrap around deck with amazing veiws. You will have 2 covered parking spaces in the carport under the cabin. Our mild climate makes heating and air conditioning unnecessary. It sits on a one acre property that is shared with the owners who live in a separate house, 2 friendly dogs and a flock of chickens. Feel free to explore the property with many tropical fruit trees and a short trail through the rainforest.

Had an amazing stay here. The place was everything we needed it to be and more. Claire was eager to grab our attention and point out some of the wildlife on her property and was kind enough to share some binoculars with us so we could get a closer look at a family of howler monkeys. her recommendations for local places to eat and hike were spot on as well! Next time we're in the area, will be sure to check this space out again
This is our first Airbnb at Costa Rica. We like the place that is pretty basic, but can certainly accommodate small family. Claire tacos are good and definitely recommend to try.
Claire’s place was just what we needed to enjoy our time in Bajos del Toro to explore the many waterfalls. They were so accommodating with flexible check in and check out times. We greatly appreciated it! This quaint, rustic cabin had a well stocked kitchen and a big shower. There is no AC, however, there are fans and it is nice and cool in the mountains. The place is right on the road 708, so you can hear cars passing. More importantly, you can wake up to the natural sunlight and amazing morning bird sounds and enjoy some delicious coffee on the deck. We enjoyed our stay and also meeting Luna, their sweet dog!

We are conveniently located off the main road from Rio Cuarto to Bajos del Toro in the small town of Colonia del Toro, surronded by rainforest and farmland. The owners of the cabin live in a house on the same property and are available if you need help with anything or suggestions on things to do. Here is a list of some of the closest attractions:
~10 minute drive Catarata Pozo Azules; walk a short distance to see a beautiful waterfall from a lookout and get a workout hiking to the bottom. If you are looking for an adreniline rush ride their huge water slide through the jungle into a natural pool.
~20 minute drive Catarata Del Toro; one of the most majestic waterfalls in Costa Rica, steep hike down to the falls and tons of hummingbirds and wildlife to see
~20 minute drive Blue Falls; hike to 9 different beautifull blue falls with great swimming holes, this can easily be a whole day trip
~30 minute drive Dinoland; stroll through the jungle and see life size annimated dinosaurs. You will feel like you are walking through Jurrasic Park and it is truly fun for the whole family!
~10 minute drive Pozas la Presa; see several waterfalls, a hanging bridge and swimming holes
~20 minute drive Recreo Verde; unwind in these beautiful hotsprings. There is a huge warm pool, 2 big cold pools and 5 smaller hot pools all fed from natural hotsprings. Not ready to unwind? They also offer hiking and ziplining!
~20 minue drive Laguna Rio Cuarto; water temperature is perfect for swimming or rent a kayake or paddle board to explore!
~10 minute walk Tienda Colonia del Toro; this is a small store but they somehow seem to have everything you could need, groceries, ice cream, beer, liquor.
~20 minute drive town of Venencia; a larger town that has grocery stores, restaurants, and shops
It is best to have a car when staying at this cabin although there is a small store within walking distance and owners can assist in calling a cab if needed
