can't recommend this place or Janice enough. Perfect host. Pet friendly. Super accommodating and very friendly. Easy walk to town, however if you've been living in the flats of the Midwest and you decide to go for a run, the run back up the hill to house is a bit daunting. 😆

The description of this property is very accurate: it’s a beautiful and clean lower level walk-out apartment with a kitchenette and it looks out on a beautifully landscaped back yard. The host, who lives in another part of the house, was very attentive, and quick to respond to communications and requests, but respected our privacy. She seemed to have thought of everything and provided detailed instructions that were much more comprehensive than other air bnbs that I’ve stayed at. All in all, we had a great stay and would come back to this property next time in Abingdon.

The oasis is absolutely stunning! Janice was a superb host! We thoroughly enjoyed our 28th anniversary in Abington. Janice offered recommendations and was extremely kind and helpful. Space is absolutely gorgeous with many amenities. We will definitely come back.

We were looking for a peaceful getaway weekend away from the heat of the city, and the In-Town Oasis did NOT disappoint. The accommodations were beautiful, well appointment, and there with so many amenities and little extras--no detail was overlooked, including candles lit and fresh flowers for our arrival. But what absolutely blew us away was the backyard pond and garden, built into the deck adjacent the apartment, which can be seen from every inside window and truly appreciated in the ample seating area outside. Photos can not do justice to the beauty of this space--the vibrant koi in the pond, the sound of the running water, the birds that fill the trees surrounding the deck and frequent the large bird feeder. It is a complete, sensory experience--and therapy for the soul. In addition, Janice was gracious, kind and generous to a fault--a perfect host! We have stayed at many AirBnBs in the past 10+ years, and this one sits high at the top of the list.
