The perfect base for a romantic break, lovers of the great outdoors can enjoy walking routes accessed directly from the property and a number of cycling routes also. After a day of adventuring, retire to the comforts of this welcoming home, where you can enjoy a sundowner in the courtyard while you plan your next activity. Taking a step up into the property, upon entering you will find yourself in the open plan lounge/kitchen area. Brimming with countryside charm, it is a very warm and welcoming space. The decor and furnishings have been thoughtfully considered offering all you need to assure of a comfortable break; a handy breakfast bar in the roomy kitchenette, sumptuous seating in the lounge and plenty of space to relax after a day of exploring the Lake District. Upstairs there is a king-size bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. Step outside and enjoy your morning cuppa in the shared courtyard, which is quite the sun trap, or perhaps swing open part of the stable-style front door and invite the outside in. Explore the stunning Cumbrian landscape within easy reach - just 1 mile from the property there is a bakery and a pub, perfect for a pit stop, or hop on your bike and head to the famous Hartside Pass which presents breath taking panoramas across the Solway Firth to Scotland. Ullswater is a short drive away and from here you can take the steamer across the lake, exploring the famous Aira Force waterfalls en route, whilst the market town of Penrith (10 miles) offers a good choice of shops and eateries to visit.
