Situated in a pretty spot close to the heart of the seaside town of Swanage, this light and appealing cottage makes a cosy and friendly holiday home for up to six guests. Perfect for couples and families exploring the beautiful Isle of Purbeck, this cosy and welcoming detached property is ideal for keen walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. Within easy reach of nature reserves, beaches and countryside, the cottage provides a fantastic backdrop for anyone wanting to experience a superb stretch of the Dorset coast. The house is set at the top of an incline from the driveway, and features a welcoming hallway leading through to a spacious, relaxing lounge/diner. Featuring plenty of seating, a warming wood burner and Smart TV, this is a great space to unwind in at the end of a fabulous day. The stylish kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. An additional snug has a Smart TV, sofa and plenty of space to play games. The first floor has three bright bedrooms: a super-king-size room with Smart TV, a twin with Smart TV, and a bunk bedroom. The charming, landscaped garden features a patio with outdoor furniture and a second seating area with a fire pit. There’s also an unenclosed lawn to the side of the house. Swanage is a bustling seaside town with numerous great places to eat and drink, and is known for its long sandy beach, traditional promenade and Victorian pier. Attractions and landmarks close by include Durlston Bay, Peveril Point, the Prince Albert Gardens, Anvil Point, Durlston Country Park, Ballard Down and Dancing Ledge (all within 3 miles). Also nearby are Chapman’s Pool (5.5 miles), The Blue Pool (8 miles) and Hartland Moor National Nature Reserve (7.5 miles) or you can head inland to the historic village of Corfe Castle (5.5 miles).
