3 ACRES OF COUNTRY - 30 minutes (16 miles) from Edisto beach, 45 minutes-1 hour (25 miles) from Charleston. Country living, private, close to the beach, set on almost 3 acres, yard games, kayaks. Froggy cottage is the perfect relaxing spot to come back to after a day at the beach or exploring Charleston! Level 1- open space, fully stocked kitchen/ dining (seats 4), dishwasher, with a sectional couch, a foosball table in a common area, washer and dryer, and full bathroom (with shower), large tv. Wifi throughout, AC/ heat throughout Level 2- bedroom with a king size bed and tv. Attached, with glass double doors separating, is pull out couch and a single bed in a sleeping "nook" that is on the balcony area of 2nd floor. Separated from stairs by a half wall. Outside- 2 picnic tables, fire pit with seating (we provide firewood), party lights, 4 single kayaks with life vests, a hammock, & grill are all available for you to use. Also has a new (2022) outdoor shower with hot and cold water, perfect for after the beach! (shower closed Dec-Feb) Note- we are on well water here. So, as with many country homes, the water may smell a bit "eggy" or of sulfur. We have a water dispenser at the home with fresh water to drink. In addition, there is a water filtration device on the shower. Not suitable for parties or events.
