The place is functional, but not comfortable. It's basically like a big motel room. The cheapest possible furnishings and accessories, and not many of them. Few kitchen utensils, cookware, etc. - 4 coffee mugs for a 4 bedroom house, no salt or pepper, a Keurig coffee machine but no capsules for it, etc. There were 12 hangers among the 4 bedrooms, and no dressers, so there was no way to unpack. There were bright glaring LED lights in every room, kind of like walking around a Walmart. And everything in the house was clearly purchased at Walmart. So if you want a place to lay your head at night, this will work. But if you want anything resembling a home with comfort and conveniences, this is not it...

Christopher's place was great! Beds were super comfy and there was plenty of room for us to relax and the kids to play. We had to cut our trip short due to illness but we'll definitely try to stay again.

The House was perfect for our large family of littles. Plenty of rooms. We got the key out of the key box easily, but couldn't get open to replace the key after our stay. That's the only negative thing. Thanks!

We moved away from Ankeny in 2017 but my son is still there so it was close to him and we knew the area. We also traveled with a 5 month old and the property had what we needed to care for her (huge benefit).
