After two years of meticulous renovation in 2023, the residence now stands as a unique gem, where tradition, history, and art harmoniously merge. The corridor leads to the living area, where you'll immediately admire the marvellous original vault of the kitchen and the open-air courtyard. The kitchen is fully equipped: an induction hob with four burners, a microwave oven, refrigerator, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, complete set of pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, and utensils for cooking. The dining room is furnished with a round table with six designer chairs and features a beautiful original stone wall. From here, an imposing portal leads to the living area. The living room is one of the most charming rooms; all the walls are adorned with original paintings expertly restored. The two large windows make the room very bright. The indirect artificial light of the floor lamps and the designer furniture blend perfectly with the historicity of the place. There is a leather sofa and two armchairs, a plexiglass cabinet with books and a record player, and a Samsung QLED 4K 65" Smart TV. From the corridor of the sleeping area, you access the three double suites and three bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. The "BRUNELLESCHI SUITE" is furnished with the "FLUTTUA" suspended bed by "LAGO DESIGN," challenging gravity with its single central support, giving shape to the dream of sleeping while floating in the air. The furnishings include a pair of "KARTELL" bedside tables, a design armchair, and a coat rack. Opposite the bedroom is the first bathroom. The suspended fixtures (WC and bidet), sink, and oval bathtub are all products of "Antonio Lupi Design," an excellence in Italian design. The "DONATELLO SUITE" is furnished with the "STEEL" bed by "LAGO DESIGN," a pair of bedside tables, a pair of armchairs, and a coat rack. Here too, references to the historicity of the place are evident. In addition to the painted walls, attention is drawn to a lit area of the wall revealing an original fresco from the ancient church. In this room, the soul of San Pier Maggiore is more alive than ever. Exiting the room, you'll find the second bathroom. There is a large shower with an RGB spotlight for chromotherapy. Using a remote control, you can choose the colour and light intensity. The fixtures (WC and bidet) and sinks complete the furnishings. The "MICHELANGELO SUITE" is the apartment's most iconic and fascinating room. The art and history of the past merge with the design choices of the furnishings and materials used. The first thing you'll notice is the "AIR" bed by "LAGO DESIGN," which, thanks to the transparency of the glass supports, seems to float in the void. Glass is the recurring theme of the room, a thoughtful choice to not limit visual boundaries and give those who wish to observe the opportunity to see beyond ART ABOVE ALL. One wall is delimited by two imposing original 16th-century stone columns that supported an arch of the church, and looking up, ancient crests are still present. The suite features a WC, sink, and a spectacular glass-enclosed shower, making the room even more exclusive. A design armchair and a plexiglass wardrobe/coat rack complete the furnishings.
