1. The location of this property is superb on the south edge of the town with fabulous views overlooking the bay; the street is quiet; it is about 1 mile from the center of Morro Bay with surprisingly excellent restaurants etc. 2. The property was built in 1938 (it is described as “historic”) and has not been modernized, be warned to expect old style wooden cupboards, bathroom units, etc etc. 3. The decorative order is very poor, it probably has not been painted inside for 20 years or more, again, be warned. 4. There are a brand-new electric Lazy-boy armchair and a sofa which are very comfortable. 5. There is no dishwasher (despite references to one in the instructions). 6. The heating is “central”, a single unit in the middle of the house, resulting in different temperatures in different rooms, with a basic thermostat (no capability to select different temperatures at different times). 7. The living room LG TV supported an Apple AirPlay connection from an iPad without issues (once I found how to select AirPlay using the TV’s remote). 8. Internet bandwidth measured at a rather meager 44 Mbps download, but we streamed from the UK without issues. 9. There are lots of extras, such as the binoculars to help enjoy looking at the birds, etc. Summary: If you don’t mind the old fashioned interior and old paintwork, then this property has a lot going for it.

What a wonderful, vintage cottage by the bay. Very clean and well kept. The old wood ceilings, and antique and vintage furniture made it a charming place. It is just down from the Morro Bay State Park so Lots of birds and wildlife. Sitting on the patio by the water was very relaxing too. Well equipped and just as they describe. Just a short drive to beaches, golf, restaurants, shopping and recreation.

The location of this house is unbeatable. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We locked the garage opener in our car in the garage ad someone was there in 7 minutes to help us. Will totally be back.

Perfect view, so quiet. it was a gem. we are locals and we will want to stay there again. it was absolutely fabulous!!
